State-of-the-Art Project Review and Implementation

Discovery – It all begins with one or more discovery “brainstorming” sessions to fully understand the business needs, benefits, costs, and risks of the proposed project. This includes clarifying your specific needs, pain points and goals – for both the short and long term, as well as timing. We’ll ask all the right questions to design a solution and plan an implementation appropriately. The discovery sessions drive all that follows, including the proposal, the quote, the plan, project management, and if needed, on-going support.

Proposal – Next we’ll document the results of the discovery sessions, detailing all that will be accomplish in each phase of the project. Some projects, for budgeting and criticality, may need to be accomplished in phases. We’ll set all of that out in the proposal. Key items included in the proposal:

  • Overview of the understanding of the problem to solve, the agreed upon solution, and implementation overview.

  • Agile or Waterfall project management methodology and project phase dependencies.

  • Project team structure & stakeholders – on both the PDL and your (the client) side.

  • Project and implementation change management, project milestones, risk management.

  • Overall security adherence and implications.

  • Assumptions and out-of-scope items/issues.

  • Timeline and costing – based on a per diem or fixed cost model.

Development and Implementation – Then the application development starts. Our team will work either on-site or remote, depending on your needs. We’ll do a deeper discover to ensure we haven’t missed anything. The implementation also requires us to be serious project managers and systems analysts, determining the exact problem each part of the application is trying to solve and fleshing out what those solutions will look like. We then build out the solution’s functionality and “look-and-feel” – with constant guidance and input from your team. Project management best practices will be followed:

  • Keeping you informed at all steps of the process with project updates, timeline updates, and status calls through software development.

  • Perform unit, alpha, and beta testing throughout the development process. When ready, a user sample environment will be set-up for UAT testing. This will allow key stakeholder to see how things work.

  • Schedule the move to Production to minimize disruption to existing Operations.

  • Determine and execute training and ongoing support needs – we’re here if and when you need us. We can accommodate one-off support requests or set-up an ongoing maintenance contract.

Closeout & Debrief – A critical step where we pull in all necessary stakeholders to debrief at the end of the project. We’ll review what went right, and what went wrong. We’ll talk about on-going training and software maintenance needs. We’ll review continuous improvement needs and any other open issues.

On-going Salesforce and Data Management Maintenance Services – PDL offers flexible maintenance plans to keep your Salesforce application and enterprise data running at top performance. Choose from one-off, hourly, or several retainer-based Managed Services support options.

Flexible Contract and Pricing Plans

PDL offers support services on a retainer and on-demand basis. Services can be delivered on-site; remotely across the United States; or a combination of the two. For better financial management, weekly or monthly payment plans can be set-up and customized to meet your budgeting needs. Volume service fee discounts based on required hours per week, and/or contract duration terms are available.
